Play-based workshops take an interactive approach to learning, focusing on curiosity and participant interaction. Parents engage in play activities, which has been proven to strengthen bonds with their children and support their learning and development. Our workshops aim to reintroduce the joy of play to parents, making the learning experience both meaningful and fun.
Our workshops are flexible and guided by the experiences of the parents. We provide a framework and scenarios for play-based learning. Techniques include role plays, creative play, and imaginative activities, all designed to enhance your parenting skills through engaging and hands-on experiences.
Unlike traditional classes, which often rely on one-way instruction, our play-based workshops emphasize interaction and equal participation. Parents actively engage in the learning process rather than passively listening, making these workshops more impactful and memorable.
Parents will gain a deeper understanding of their child’s behavior by learning the language of play. You’ll leave with practical activities to reinforce these learnings at home, fostering stronger connections and better communication with your child.
Absolutely! We encourage parents to bring real-life challenges and experiences. This allows you to walk away with practical solutions tailored to your unique situation. If you’re looking for a fun, engaging, and practical way to improve your communication with your child and strengthen your bond, then a play-based workshop is an excellent choice. It’s perfect for parents who want to learn through experience and enjoy a collaborative learning environment.
B. Modalities of the Workshops
No preparation is needed—just bring your active participation and enthusiasm!
Workshops begin with an ice-breaker, followed by 2-3 interactive games. Parents also receive take-home activities to practice with their children, ensuring the learning continues beyond the workshop.
While we’ve designed our online workshops to be engaging, in-person workshops offer the added benefits of real-life interaction and networking with like-minded parents. We highly recommend attending in person for the best experience.
Each workshop lasts approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, but the duration can vary depending on the enthusiasm and engagement of the participants.
While attending the full series is ideal, each workshop is designed to be a complete learning experience on its own. You can still gain valuable insights from attending individual sessions.
Yes, both parents are encouraged to attend together. This provides a shared experience that can help in creating a consistent parenting approach at home.
Absolutely. The techniques and activities taught in the workshops are versatile and can be adapted to suit various parenting styles, making them beneficial for all parents.
